The play was directed by the teachers Elena Benitez and Antonio Calvo, It was fully performed in English, except for an English – Spanish speech between acts.
Everyone attending the performance could enjoy a wonderful staging, in which there was music, dancing, and a very special atmosphere.This play has taken part of the bilingual project in our school.
We would like to thank to both, Trinidad Berral and Mercedes Fernández, for their work with the students of 1º ESO A, B who did not choose drama subject, they were in charge of staging the performance. We’d also like to thank to Francisco Muñoz, art teacher, for making a wonderful magic forest on stage, and of course, to Teresa Motilla, who was behind the scenes helping in anything we needed.
Thank so much all the students who participated in the play for the hard work they carried out throughout this year, and specially , their enthusiasm at every time. CONGRATULATIONS GUYS!!!
El pasado junio, el alumnado de 1º ESO A y B que eligió teatro-musical en la asignatura de libre disposición representó una adaptación de la obra escrita por los Hermanos Grimm “The twelve dancing princesses”.
Dirigida por Elena Benítez y Antonio Calvo, la obra fue representada íntegramente en inglés con narración inglés/español, como parte del proyecto bilingüe del centro.
Aquellos que asistieron a la representación, pudieron disfrutar de una maravillosa puesta en escena, en la que no faltó la música, el baile y una ambientación muy especial. Desde aquí queremos agradecer tanto a Trinidad Berral y a Mercedes Fernández su labor con el alumnado de 1º ESO A,B que no eligió teatro y que se encargó de crear el atrezo. También agradecer a Francisco Muñoz la construcción de ese maravillo bosque mágico, y por supuesto, a Teresa Motilla que estuvo entre bambalinas de apuntadora.
Muchas gracias a todo el alumnado que participó en la obra por el gran trabajo que ha realizado durante todo este año y la ilusión que le ha puesto en todo momento. FELICIDADES CHIC@S!!!
