On 30th October, we celebrated Halloween at our school. To do so, the English Department proposed the students to take part in several contests; a pumpkins and decoration contest for 1st and 2nd year ESO students and a contest about cakes and Halloween recipes for our 3rd and 4th ESO students. The number of participants was amazing! It was great fun!
On 9th November our winners were given their corresponding prizes. There were prizes for the three best pumpkins and decoration and three for the most delicious and original recipes. The rest of participants received some sweets for collaborating. The winners were the following:
Pumpkins & Decoration:
1st Prize: Juan José Arroyo (1st ESO B)
2nd Prize: Laura Sánchez (1st ESO A)
3rd Prize: José Antonio Membrives (1st ESO B)
Cakes & Halloween recipes:
1st Prize: Samuel Espinosa (4th ESO Diversification)
2nd Prize: Lourdes Díaz (2nd ESO B)
3rd Prize: Uriel Pulido (3rd ESO A)
We must thank our students for participating in this activity and for sharing surprising ideas with their partners. It was a good way of learning about British-American festivities in a funny way!
